My Korea Trip Part 2

My Korea Trip Part 2

More of Daejanggeum Theme Park
I am not a fan of the series so i am not sure where is this place too.

Is this also featured in the show?
No idea

Playing with the camera again..:P

Did you see that big pail of ice on the right hand side?
Yes it is ice, so you feel how cold it was.
It actually snows that day. (first encounter with snow too)

Starting to feel bored and playing with my camera again:P

Out of Daejanggeum Theme Park.
This is Shinchon Fashion Street.
I think the girls will go crazy here as there are loads of clothing and shoes shops and of course facial product (very very cheap compared to Singapore for Korean brand facial product)

All my friend who saw this pictures thought i went Japan.
Does it looks like Japan? (Not been Japan yet)
This is still Shinchon Fashion Street

My Korea Trip Part 1

My Korea Trip Part 1

It was year 2008 Dec and i will be spending my New Year in Korea.
Stay tune while i add description to my pictures.

Changi Airport!...This is is always the best moment before a holiday..going to airport..:P

We took an overnight flight so i had to force myself to sleep else next morning when the itinerary starts, we will all have that one "ring" that rules our face (the Panda eye ring)
Btw this pic was taken around 6plus in the morning, very beautiful skyline.

Breakfast everyone..!!
I like the breakfast, looks and tastes fantastic.

We have landed in KOREA!!!!!My first time to Korea.
I cant remember the name of the airport (let me go dig my itinerary first)

My first tourist spot from airport is this place. 大长今村(Daejanggeum Theme Park)
I guess no more further introduction is required if you are a big fan of 大长今
The temperature now is around -2 to 2 degree and my first encounter with winter.

More pictures of the surrounding of Daejanggeum Theme Park
My first time seeing winter scene in real life.Feel like I am in a dream land..

Playing with my camera for some creative shots

My Taiwan Trip Part 7 (Final)

My Taiwan Trip Part 7 (Final)

It is not the favourite time of my day but i cant resist this.
豪大大鸡排.
For those of who dont know, this is also another must try in Taiwan.
Taste normal but the size and the price makes this irrestible.

Forgot to take a picture of the meat before it goes into my stomach. Sorry

The platsic bag that contains the famous 鸡排 (Chicken Chop)

Back then, this is almost non existent in Singapore but not it is so common.
It gives me a WOW factor again..hehe.一起吃冰吧!

Another unique store name(大饼包小饼).Taiwanese are really good at playing with the chinese word to come out with very attention seeking names like this.

Trying to find the logo of this place as a proof i have been there:P

Still looking for the signage. Cant see any here

Yes! I have found it
士林市场..This is like another must go place if you visit Taiwan.

I am back to the hotel.
Wait, wasnt this the hotel i criticised earlier in Part 2? Shark , I am back to this place

Do we have such Milo packing in Singapore?
Very convenient packe

Preparing to go back home. :(

We met with typhoon on my way back and our flight was delayed (~1 hour)due to bad weather condition

Good Bye Taiwan!
I will be back again as i still have not explore a lot of places in Taiwan.

My Taiwan Trip Part 6

My Taiwan Trip Part 6

Marching has started..
Left right left right left right left..
This is a MUST SEE if you ever visit TAIWAN. Pretty impressive stuff.

Our tour guide told us these guys are specially picked.
They are the elite.
Their family background must be "clean" (not sure how many generation down).

Look at the tourist behind, we were just following them through the whole session.
I remember it was like 20-30 mins.

Time to take a break, finally can march toward resting zone for these guys.

Wait, there are toying with their rifles to the delight of the tourists.
Awesome stuff...

Time for a break. Guess where our next destination is?

Time for a hotspring. I have tried it and nothing special not really my cup of tea.
If my memories did not fail me, i think this place is called 陽明山
BTW i was in private zone :P
